The charm of the SHIZQ Mt. Fuji Pendant lies in

The dynamic form, making full use of the cedar's annual rings.
The curves drawn by nature evoke the sacred peak of Mt. Fuji,

Its fan-like silhouette gently spreads light downwards,

The expression, etched with the memory of time in its annual rings,

In the summer of 2015, with its exhibition at the Milan Expo as a catalyst,
the prototype of this pendant was born
as an iconic product of SHIZQ.

However, it took two years from then to commercialization.
This is because the process of securing Kamiyama cedar of this size,
naturally drying it while preventing cracks, and
carving it from a single piece of wood,
requires many times more time and effort than making tableware.

Nevertheless, we remained committed to
creating a unique "cedar shade carved from a single piece of wood."

Beautiful as an interior piece, both day and night.
Casually illuminating nature at the heart of the space.

It is a presence that gives birth to a moment in time.
