Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan. When I was a child, my family and I, the Fujita family, traveled all the way from Tokushima to challenge the summit of Mt. Fuji. Three out of five of us dropped out along the way, making it the most arduous mountain climb in our family's travel history.
Despite such a bitter memory, Mt. Fuji's overwhelming presence and beauty, a mountain that not only Japanese people but also international visitors wish to see at least once, truly makes it the best in Japan.
Today, we're introducing a special pendant light made from Kamiyama cedar, inspired by Mt. Fuji!
The SHIZQ Mt. Fuji Pendant originated when SHIZQ exhibited at the 2015 Milan Expo, and it was newly designed as a prototype to be the "main attraction of the exhibition."
It received a great response locally, and many people were captivated by the beauty of Kamiyama cedar created by SHIZQ. In response to this evaluation, it took two years to commercialize this masterpiece.

Due to its 30cm diameter, the material is rare, and the wood drying process is difficult. Furthermore, it requires the skill and physical strength to continuously carve large blocks, making it the most challenging product to manufacture among SHIZQ's wooden products.
After numerous improvements, the production for 2025 will also be a limited quantity.
